Build Trust

When working as a team, everything begins with trust. A successful way of doing it is by showing others your vulnerabilities as it creates a culture where being vulnerable or accepting when you are wrong is done without the fear of repercussions. 

Manage Conflict 

Being able to positively manage conflict is a great way to encourage healthy debate and help people to master their critical thinking skills. It enables people to question whether decisions are best for the company and makes everyone feel more invested in the company as they were part of the decision making process. 

Embrace Accountability

It is so important that a team knows that if they make the wrong decision or do something wrong, especially when their intention was good, that they don’t get disciplined as a result. More often than not, it will lead to great commitment to the company.
